Carmen Langley M.Pharm, MPS is a pharmacist with 25 years' experience in the Australian Pharmaceutical industry, specialising in Regulatory Affairs for Rx and OTC drug products. In 2008 she was appointed Scientific Affairs Director at Ferring Pharmaceuticals Pty Ltd in Sydney, with effect from 1 May. After obtaining her pharmacy undergraduate and post-graduate qualifications from Monash University (Victorian College of Pharmacy Parkville Campus), she began her industry career as a Clinical Research Associate for Parke Davis Pty Ltd before moving into medical affairs and then regulatory affairs for several US and European based companies. Carmen also has extensive consulting experience, having worked for local and global CROs and for eight years in her own regulatory affairs consulting business. She has been involved with teaching regulatory affairs for many years, has also published in this field, and is the ANZ correspondent for the RAJ. Carmen was a founding member of ARCS and has been an active member for many years (including a term as President), has been awarded the ARCS Osmond-Russell Scholarship. She is now a Life Member of ARCS, and is also a member of RAPS and TOPRA.
