Marisol Cruz works for Zimmer SA in Spain as a manager regulatory affairs and compliance for Southern Europe & Quality Assurance. Dr Cruz was previously the quality and regulatory manager for aseptic production and distribution activity of biologic products for cell therapies and regulatory affairs & quality manager with responsibility for the Mediterranean, Middle East and Central & Eastern Europe regions. She is a member of the Spanish society of sterilisation practices, CEDEST; the Spanish pharmaceutical industry association, AEFI; the Spanish association of healthcare technology companies, FENIN; and the Spanish standardisation organisation AENOR. She has also attended RAPS (Regulatory Affairs Professionals Society) conferences since 1985, and was a speaker at the 2006 conference in Lisbon.
