Miguel Napolitano is medical director of Cetus SRL, and has worked in the Argentinean pharmaceutical industry as a scientific director, medical adviser and medical director since 1973. Dr Napolitano worked for the local subsidiaries of Astra (now part of AstraZeneca) and Boehringer Mannheim (now part of Roche) during the 1970s and 1980s, and served as director of the Research and Clinical Pharmacology Department of the Macropsicologia Institute between 1994 and 2000. He has dealt with most of the main therapeutic fields, including: infections; respiratory, cardiovascular and central nervous systems; metabolic diseases; skin, including wound dressings, antifungals and psoriasis; and nutrition, dietary supplements and over-the-counter products. Dr Napolitano is a member of various Argentinean scientific and medical societies as well as the Argentine Association of Medical Advisers in the Pharmaceutical Industry (AMAIFA) and the Center of Studies for the Development of the Chemical and Pharmaceutical Industry (CEDIQUIFA).
